Bright Young Things Play Dress Up
You don’t have to be a kid to play dress up. Get together with friends and try on some ridiculously fun looks on and get inspired! Having a friend with a large vintage collection is always great for borrowing but having them host a dress up event can be a fun way to hang out with friends and try on new looks. Pairing the vintage pieces with the Little Black Dress can take your look to the streets with flair and style and a nod to the environment that any Bright Young Thing would appreciate.

Bright Young Things Comic Part II
Part II of our Bright Young Things Archie Comic has an unusual origin. As soon as Bright Young Things launched on the scene so did one of our favorite readers and most loyal fans, RUN JDHP. His loyalty runs deep. He gave us so much love that when he offered to make us our very own Bright Young Things cartoon, we jumped at the chance! How could we resist?…..READ MORE>>
Picnic In The Park
How often in the depths of winter did you have visions of the summer ahead? Of being out on a blanket in the park, sipping wine and wearing less than (gasp!) the countless layers of winter gear you were wearing at the time? It was high time for that fantasy to become sweet, sweet reality for the Bright Young Things… READ MORE>>
Fearless Fashion
“You can’t think so hard about being fearless, I guess! My doodles started on the edges of my school textbooks and scrap pieces of paper and now they’ve become synonymous with my style. They’re something I don’t really think about -they kind of just do themselves! It’s great to be able to do them on a larger scale and to think that they might stop someone, even if it’s just for a moment.”…. READ MORE>>
House Party at my Earthship
So we moved into our new Earthship this week, and to celebrate, we threw a fabulous house party. Some of the guests included Princess Leia, Josephine Baker, Harrison Ford, Albert Einstein… to name a few. We hired Lydia Deetz to be the photographer, and I think she was not only wowed by our star studded guest list, but she thought the roof of our Earthship was pretty spectacular. We tend to agree. The party was going smashingly until Carmen Miranda arrived and Katherine Hepburn threw a classic Hollywood Diva fit and stormed out. But we didn’t mind that much, because up until that moment she hadn’t said a word and had been hovering over the chip bowl, stuffing her face. I guess she’s actually kinda shy in person.

Friday nights with Eliza Starbuck
What are you doing this Friday night? Not busy? Well, then you should get dressed and come over to my place. We’re having an intimate little gathering with cocktails and dancing in Outer-space. Harry Clarke will be our event illustrator because we don’t allow photographer’s in the house, some of our more famous guests would object. Titania will be our hostess, serving Sazerac and Stingers. The attendees will include Jonathan Strange (sans Norell, because, well, he’s rather bland), some very well decorated Amazon Warriors, a shining Joan of Arc, and the Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, to mention just a few. I hope you can make it.
