Tania Rodriguez is a DPW hottie, also known as “Nice”. She lives in New York, where she works as a massage therapist and maybe, possibly dabbles in burlesque.
At one of her dance classes, the instructor told her about a costume warehouse that was having a sale. She got these vintage dance boots, complete with reinforced heel, at a huge discount.
Yep, Nice loves shopping but she also knows how to make a lot from a little. She took this army cap and added the veil and skull patch herself. The cuffs, she picked up years ago and has been carrying around, waiting for the moment to finally wear them. I’d say she picked the right time.
This dress is too big for Nice, so she fastened it with a wide elastic corset belt. Her Maori carved bone necklace was a gift from Otto Von Danger, who picked it up in New Zealand.
Hot tip on striped stockings: “Cut the feet out,” says Nice. “That way you can wear them all the time and they don’t get gross.”
This wear-a-thon is a collaboration with Love&Trash, a DIY blog for people who do things differently.
