Bright Young Things’ Style Challenge

We’ve been fantasizing about seeing some of our favorite Bright Young Things of New York City do their take on our Little Black Dress, and we’ve finally come up with an excuse for the ladies to Bring It! We’re throwing a style challenge party for the fashion darlings and bloggers of NYC, giving them a chance to win some major Bright Young Things Honors, and a little black dress for each of the first place Awards, Most Original and Favorite Style! Using a mix of the items they walk in with and vintage pieces found at the Cobblestones vintage shop in the East Village each Style Challenger can present up to two different looks that express their style and taste.

Help these stylish ladies win a dress, and enter for a chance to win your very own little black dress through our Voters Dress Drawing, by voting “like” on our post for your favorite Style Challenger at the Bright Young Things Facebook Page! Once you have given your vote, we will include* you in the drawing pool. We’ll keep you posted on our Facebook and Twitter pages to let you know when the event launches, and we hope that you will vote for your favorite style.

*Please note, only one entry per voter per day will be counted in the drawing, even if you “like” more than one person on that day, which is totally allowed. You can be re-entered by voting each day the voting polls are open.

How does the judging work? And what do they win? What can I win?

Because style is strictly subjective, there are two first place prizes: the Most Original Style Award, and Our Favorite Style Award. There are seven Honorable Mention categories: Most Eclectic, Most Current Use of Vintage, Most Fantastical, Most Fabulous, Most Modern, Most Fun, Most Outrageous. Our Bright Young Things Style Council will be awarding the “Most Awards” to each of the Challengers, and our fans will be voting for their “Favorite Style” on the Bright Young Things Facebook Fan Page by becoming a fan by “like“ing our Facebook page and then clicking “like” and giving a thumbs up on the style post they like the best. The contest will begin on Wednesday, July 28th, and the poles will close Sunday, August 1st at midnight. All winners will be announced Monday, August 2nd, along with the Voter Dress Drawing winner.
