Pamela Castillo, Style Challenger!

Boy, talk about a sunny disposition, Pamela Castillo is one bright young thing!

Pamela's first look: earrings, lace capelet, belt, and handbag from Cobblestones. Watch and shoes from Pamela's personal closet.

Pamela is Co-Founder and Creative Director of Market Publique the only marketplace online dedicated to vintage fashion. The website presents fashion-forward, wearable vintage with a curated marketplace in which sellers go through an application process, ensuring products and listings of the highest quality.

Pamela's second look: a mix of her own and Cobblestones bangles and necklaces to make a stack. Shades and shoes are from Pamela's personal wardrobe.

“Launched in 2009, Market Publique has received enthusiastic support from the online vintage community as well as being recognized by publications including The New York Times, WWD, Elle,  Daily Candy, Refinery 29, Bust Magazine, and countless fashion blogs  like Style Bubble, The Coveted & What I Wore.

“Pamela writes the  blog, styles and directs the lookbooks, buys vintage for the House  Store and obsesses over every single article of vintage that she comes across, more oftentimes than not, trying it on several times. But she’s not afraid to get down-and-dirty with code , and has designed and developed websites for companies including InStyle.com, The New Museum, Estée Lauder and NYLON, among others, using the skills she acquired at Parsons with her MFA in Design & Techonology.

“She can often be seen riding her vintage tricycle around Williamsburg, where Market Publique is based, picking up veggies from her CSA. ” -from Market Publique

Many of the pieces of jewelry she styled with on the second outfit were hand me downs from her grandmother in Guatemala, how cool!
