Jessica Valenzuela, Day 9
The Night Of Lords of Acid
What I love about meeting new people and visiting new places is learning. Tonight, I learned about a band called Lords of Acid. Really hot, trashy looking chicks in fishnet stockings, lacy underwear and stretchy fabrics; they can sing any superstar off stage! Yup, they are great performers!
Prior to the concert in the breezy outdoors of San Francisco, I sported the LBD as a belted jacket over lacy nighties with lacy stockings and a garter belt all from My Boudoir. The belt you’ve seen in previous outfits is from Stella McCartney. A prized accessory which I know I will own forever. I lost this belt once (I left it while changing for an event somewhere in New York City). I was so devastated, I went back to Intermix the very next day to pick a replacement. It was depressing to spend so much on a belt twice, but the rewards are enormous. It has saved me from purchasing one-time-use outfits!
Finished up the outfit with a mash of jewelry: a silver ring from 12 years ago, a beaded bracelet from Maui and a vintage ring turned into a necklace pendant from Loopy Mango in Dumbo (now closed). Dressing up is an extension and expression of my creativity.
