Day 41; July 17, 2010
A storm’s a-brewin’ here at the farm. The breeze is refreshing, no doubt about that… I’m keeping it simple today, wearing silk 1940′s tap shorts under the LBD and a woven leather belt from Salvation Army.
I got this scarf wrapped around my shoulders from Italy. There’s a porcupine on it! I’ll have to go to a post with my pet hedgehog Ziggy sometime soon!
Last night I watched “Some Like it Hot” and it reminded me of these canvas army spats I picked up at a flea market. I mean I’m at home, so I never wear shoes when I’m here. Spats are a good way to preeeetend like I’m wearing shoes. (Gotta build up a stuuuurdy foot callus!)
Oh you’re so lucky you can run around barefoot at the farm! Wish I were there with you!
