If you know me, you know I live on a farm. If you really know me, you know we run horse events there. And if you really, really know me, you’ve helped me and my family run them. This weekend (and next) my sisters and I run and manage concessions, cookin’ burgers and blending smoothies. I appropriated the LBD to our specific jobs today and made an apron out of a vintage wedding dress from the Hospital Thrift Shop in Frederick and one of the Maryland Horse Trials decals. My punched-cowboy boots are from our local Salvation army (75 cents!).
Mid-day we discovered a turtle-friend!
