Day 31; July 7, 2010

I am convinced the sun is trying to kill us all. 103…102…98 degrees. This isn’t okay. I can barely sleep at night, I go through about 4 ice cube trays a day, take 2 cold showers a day, and do nothing but pant with my puppies in front of an unsatisfying fan! It’s as if my brain’s melting along with those ice cubes…. Enough whining! I won’t let this horrid weather get to the one thing I have complete control over. My outfit. I resisted the urge to be completely naked today and sucked it up…. for the sake of the LBD.

Today I rolled up a 3/4 sleeve dress and folded them up over the LBD’s short black sleeves. Underneath the LBD I’m wearing a Liz Clairborne dress I got when I was in Scotland about four years ago.

I’m wearing my sister’s sunglasses. They have a nifty chain so that way they will never, ever come off! (I had to snag hers ’cause I lost my favorite pair yesterday biking. I blame this heat.)
