I wanted to dress like Clara Bow with black and yellow polka-dots as the pattern throughout my outfit today – and took all the photos myself…Here I am in my apartment…
I ventured onto my beautiful roof, and took this silly close-up. The hat is one of the first I ever made, and the scarf was given to me by a former co-worker. My earrings are from the same place as yesterday’s earrings, my ring is old and I haven’t a clue where I got it from. My necklace is from Barbara Silverstein, it’s rose-gold filled knit wire with freshwater pearls inside.

I lowered the waist of the dress with a tie of my Pop’s from high-school, in the 1950′s, to give the LBD a more Flapper silhouette. Notice teeny, tiny jacquard yellow dots on the tie…
Kicking up my heels in my shoes that remind me of my Irish Dancing days, they also have been in my closet for just about ever – I recently “repaired” them with a black sharpie! And, yes, I still remember the jig! Every once and a while you can see me do it on St. Patrick’s Day.
