Pride Parade

It’s the last Sunday in June, which in New York City means it’s Gay Pride Day. For the gay and lesbian community its an opportunity to be proud of who they are and strut their stuff. For the spectators, its a day to show support and to come and watch quite a show of costumes, dancing, and music. I headed to the Pride Parade to see if the girls and boys could still “Bring it”.

This year the Parade should have been just given to South America, because the Peru, Argentina, Columbia, and Brazil had the most amazing costumes. This Columbian LADY had a bustier and matching hat that looked like they were made out of burlap. Fabulous!

And did I mention that it’s so hot in New York that people should start wearing loin-clothes??? Well, these two gentlemen took it to heart, and then they added some serious bedazzling. I appreciate the matching boots. Nothing like a little sparkle, boys. The party will be raging all night long in the West Village. Happy Pride Day!!!
