WHAT YOU NEED Glue, Felt or Leather. String, Bugs, Paint/Nail Polish,Scissors and Imagination!
STEP ONE Find your critters. We found ours in a dollar store. (They were begging us to take them home…)
STEP TWO Paint your critters. We used nail polish for bright in- your -face color but any kind of paint will work. Apply generously.
STEP THREE Cut the felt or leather into a desired collar or bib shape. No need for exact precision. With a pair of scissors, cut a piece of string and tiny slits at each end of the leather/felt collar to attach. Attach string by passing it through the slit and tying a knot to secure.
STEP FOUR Prearrange the bugs in the desired layout. With super glue, stick your critters onto the collar firmly.
And Presto!
Now you’ve got your own fabulous Schiaparelli inspired critter collar to accessorize with!
