Along my adventures around New York City, I met the amazing family from Stylelikeu.com. Their site is devoted to video-documenting individuals with original style, eccentrics with one of a kind wardrobes, and design philosophers who stand out of the crowd.
Eliza Goodkind, the brain behind the operation, has a story that I can relate to. She had been a fashion industry stylist for years, working for fashion magazine industry giants, such as Vogue and Bazzar. She decided that she wanted to do something with her fashion sense that inspired people to be themselves, instead of following the latest trends and copying the “it girl” celebrities of the moment.
At the time, her daughter, Lily, was in school studying film and looking for ways to document cultural phenomenons that fascinated her. Together, the two combined forces and Styleliku was born.
